This is the first time I've ever heard of anybody getting their sidemarkers stolen.

+1 on the Type-S sidemarkers. Maybe you can check the BM?

I had a problem with the connection. took it off unplugged and replugged it, good to go. a farely simple installation just make sure you click it in really good. Ive had no leaks either.

They look similar but different enough were if you replaced the rear and not the front it would look a little strange

No they can be popped off with a little force.

This might or might not break off the retaining clips so to do it right you want to go in from the back side to remove them.

i changed out the LEDs on my rear type s sidemarkers on my 05 TL to white bulbs to match my front markers, someone tried to rip them out with a screwdriver and messed up the paint around the marker but failed because i epoxyed it to the body when i put it back on the car.

so i just pulled the trigger on the depo sides cause im not trying to roll around w/o em.

it was actually pretty weird cause the person who stole the sidemarkers didnt leave any paint chipping or scratches. so at least thats a positive (i guess!!)

from these pics, do i need anything else or is it just plug and play with the depo light

Nope it looks just like mine when I replaced them you should be good to go unless they broke the clips. Sorry you have to go through this but you will end up being happy with the Depo lights they look better than the stock ones. Install will be a breeze.
