A quick question, does anyone know how long our Starter is under warranty for?

Also does anyone have a DIY for replacing the Starter? I did a search, but I couldn't find anything.

I don't know the answer to the warranty question. I guess it would be under the bumper to bumper til it expired (to state the obvious), then maybe the drivetrain warranty til that expired, but no mileage or date warranty beyond those. IIRC, when it's replaced the part itself is probably only a year warranty.

I have to say, I was doubting your search efforts, but tried it myself and my thread doesn't come up if you search "starter replacement". I titled the DIY thread to try and make sure it'd get hit by a search. I even went to advanced search and sorted by relevancy and still don't see it come up unless it's many pages down. WTH? Can the Mods can figure out why that is? Have we been accusing people of not searching when it might have been the search function's fault?

Search or anything that has to do with querying the database seems to be broken. IB should get on fixing this, because it's pretty annoying and also a huge part of the site.

Just use google's search by inputting without quotes "site:tl.acurazine.com diy starter". it's the first hit.

looking at my previous posts it only goes up to yesterday.
