A-spec Tl Will Be My First Car - Questions!
My dad is the manager of a dealership and someone just traded in a 2004 a-spec TL with 57,000 miles for $20,000. I am 16 and this will be my first car.
1) Does the car run good on high miles such as 60,000?
2) How is the speed / Acceleration?
3) Is it an overall good vehicle?
4) Any common problems wit the car?
Thanks!

GO DAWGS!! SICK'EM!!
alright, i will help you.
1. Yes
2. Good
3. Good
4. All the problem should be fixed under the original factory warranties and there are recalls on the 04 since it is the 1st model for the 3rd GEN TL.
Since your father is the manager of a dealership, you should have
mechanics at the shop to take it look.
And if this don't help, use the search function and it will help you to answer all your quesitons.

What color is that TL? That A-Spec 2004 TL with just under 57k miles sounds mighty familiar.... (see sig)

Only ting to look at would be clucth, replaice fluids and stuff (if MT), check to see weather 3rd gear recall was preformed on this TL, check for rattles and jsut a few other basic things like scratches. THe name of the color is Anthrice Gray Metallic (spelled Wrong)

me and my dad just went to take it for a test drive (it's automatic by the way) and the transmission felt odd. the car would jump when changing gears, not sure which gear it was but it was noticable, the radio also does not work but my dad said that can be fixed. other than that is was in AMAZING condition! not one scratch and not one wrinkle on the black leather interior, NAVIGATION WORKS GREAT! and if you think my parents are nice, i got straight A's and it is also for my brother who got acceptable grades in college so we are sharing it.
