Also, just to update those who read about my rear lip arriving damaged. I have been in contact with Tim and he is taking care of it, as any consumer would expect. Couldn't ask for more from a vendor.

Everything but the front lip is in stock...dammit. Gotta wait on that, could be 2-3 weeks. Oh well. Guess it will just make the anticipation grow...LOL!

Looks like Tim is letting this buy run longer than originally planned. If anybody was planning on getting on this you might want to pull the trigger, not sure how much longer it will be on the site.

Here's a question. I've never actually priced the body kit other than seeing it in group buys. What's it normally run elsewhere? Or, what's it normally run from Hondacuraworld? The only link on the site right now is for the group but so I can't tell what they normally sell it for.
Also, just had Fedex drop off my rear lip replacement. I think Fedex has some vendeta against me since they seem to like to beat the crap out of my boxes. But, this time the lip arrived without damage thankfully. Tim provides some excellent customer service!

Just a Q guys but did the prices go up dramatically? I bought my A-Spec kit 15 months ago for around $660 shipped. The going prices were around $699-$725 for group buys back then. Soon after that people have been buying with the live.com rebate etc......$800 is cheap now?

Its explanatory on the direction, just take your time and if you'd like to one part of (side, front, back) kit a day at a time. Front and back installation are almost similar. Once you done it the first time, its really easy. I, myself, thought it was going to be really a pain in the ass, but once I started doing it and spent time on it, It got easier! Don't know if its a video instruction, but just try to do it yourself and/or with a friend. If you need any help, feel free to post back on this thread for further help.

Ew, Install them ASAP! You won't regret it, forget it if it is cold, get a giant heater next to you and start doing it!

Yeah, it looks pretty good. I had doubts because I never saw it in person, but now I love it, even though I wish it could be cheaper like in the $400-500 range because with $800 I could do a lot of other mods like a UR Pulley, RSB, Intake, etc... (But nothing with the enterior )

**BEWARE** Check your order
For those not installing right away...be sure to open everything up and check it out.
Mine had a big-ass crack in the front lip. Thankfully, Tim and the guys are great and are replacing it and picking up the bad one with no hassles.

Here's what happened with the A-Spec prices. Notice that the vendors that were doing them at this price dropped into obscurity? Here's why.....
Dealer X decides to get some business online, and thinks, hm, if I sold body kits and made $50 each and turned them like crazy, I'd be da man here at the dealership! So, they take dealer cost, and add $50, thinking the shipping can't be too bad on these, right? Yeah, says here on ups.com it'll only cost $15.00 to ship a body kit at that weight.
So, the dealer sells 20 or so body kits, and the parts manager pats him on the back. Good job man!
Then, the bill from UPS comes, and they see that each one of those boxes had an oversize class 3 surcharge of $50-$75, plus the insured value. Parts manager goes back to said employee, and him for bringing in every last body kit at a pretty decent loss.
They then close down business, saying there's no money to be made online. In the meantime, a few people get in on one hell of a great buy, and live happily ever after.
I've been doing this 9 years, and the reason for that is that I know how to cover costs. At that price, our margin is razor-thin, but at least I know enough about online sales to cover the cost of goods sold....allowing us to stay in biz
I've known some of my customers going on their 3rd and 4th vehicles, and I'll be here for your kids' Acuras too

If anybody wants to buy individual body kit parts, you can get them from http://www.acuraoemparts.com.
The parts are about the same price as Tim's, except they charge a little more for shipping.

^ You talking about the Base Front Lip or the Type-S Front Lip? There are two different lips. Obviously, if you're talking about the Type-S lip, yes it's made to fit. If you're talking about putting the Base lip on a Type-S........yes, it can be done but will require a good body shop to work it to make it fit. See jptl04's car. I believe he's the only one that's successfully done it......to say it looks good would be an understatement.
