Sourcing An OEM Catalytic Converter

Goooood morning fellow members. I’ve had the dreaded P0420 DTC for a few months and finally decided I’m going to replace the failing catalytic converter on my 2007 TL Type-S to pass inspection.(I’ve definitely been putting it off.) I placed an order with my go-to OEMAcuraParts based out of Peoria, Arizona, but recently received an email notifying me it’s on backorder with no ETA of availability. So unfortunately I will have to source another website. Are there similar websites you can vouch for that I can use? I’ve purchased the gaskets already, so those will not be an issue. Thank you for your time.

This one appears to be in stock. Not sure if there is a Honda equivalent part number for this that you could get cheaper 18160-RDB-A00

https://www.acurapartswarehouse.com/...0-rdb-a00.html

To your point, the first handful of google results have a similar price point showing "in-stock", but who knows if that's actually true....bernardi acura parts has the same part number listed for nearly twice the price of the other results, for whatever reason. Maybe they have it in stock and know they can charge whatever they want for it.... otherwise, facebook marketplace looking for a parts car might be the quick and easy fix.

I didn’t add context to the initial post, but I’ll be replacing bank 1, closest to the firewall, not the catalytic converter towards the end. They all show “in-stock”, but I’m afraid that I’ll receive the same notification once I submit my order.
I’ve included the part in question to clear up confusion: CONVERTER, RR

To save myself the headache, I may just individually contact each Acura website and see if they have the cat available before I just keep trying to buy the part and then they don't have it. Don't want to have those chargebacks ya know, LOL.

A dealer parts dept can look at nationwide inventory, including at Honda. You're buying at msrp if you contact them though.

Just an FYI,
I've used the 'Parts Availability' email functionality on APW's 'Contact Us' page often before pulling the trigger on an order:

Oh wow that's actually really helpful! The website I used doesn't have that option, but maybe I shall give APW a try. Thank you for the suggestion.

Update: I’ve called a few dealerships, and online sellers, while also using their part availability notification, to no avail. So I’m going to have to source a used catalytic converter for the time being.
