The other day I saw a 05' TL, that his rear turn signals have an arrow flashing instead of a lightbulb.
I have an 04' and the bulb flashes, am I seeing something or do 05' TL'S have an arrow flashing? Has anyone else notice this?

 

Are you sure it was a stock 05? It could be a mod. I have seen it on the Avalon though.

 

Are u saying that for a turn signal - it has a blinking arrow? That sounds like it would look so bad on the TL (maybe any car). Belongs on a school bus or something.

 

Our rear turn signal is... small... by some angles, you may feel it's... small... maybe also looks like arrow due to its cuneal shape??

 

I have an '05, it's the same as an '04. It must have been modded.

 

I thought I saw this too..Im in NJ...thought it was 05 since prior to getting my 05 my sis has an 04 and it was not an arrow. looks good...dont know how

 

Maybe I was seeing something but the arrow i supposly saw was integrated in to the rear light, did not look modded. Anyone know if somewhere did modd is sold? If its true?

 

Maybe it's just the shape of the light? It's kind of like this:

With the forward and back slashes being the turn signal shape.

 

Well, since it is an LED rear light could they have clipped the power supply to some LEDs, having it function somewhat as a dot matrix?

 

It's not an arrow. It can just look like that because of the shape.

 

I think I know what you mean. The signal looks somewhat like greater, less than < > signs from about 100 feet.

 

the shape of the light sorta looks like an arrow when its blinking, im sure if anyone modded their turn signals we would hear about it on this site.

 

The turn signals are light bulbs, not LED's
only the break, and side markers... I think

 

It's not a mod, its stock for 2004 and 2005 as it looks like this at night >

 

Im not sure about that cause they brag about the space saving of using LEDs but I could very well be wrong.

 

That's the actual shape of our lights. I really like the shape which is what makes it look like an arrow.
