So surprisingly I had a few races this weekend (I never find anyone to race) but it was fun
Race #1
So i'm on my way to a fellow Ziners house (babyacura22) for some spades and Patron with my girl. So im on I-95 South coming from Columbia on my way to Silver Spring. Its about midnight so noon eis really on the road and im crusin at 75mph. All of a sudden I see these HIDs come out of nowhere and much to my suprise it was a Scion TC. So im laffing cause Scions are jokes and he wanted to race pretty badly...So we line up going about 80mph (guess he thought i was out of my power band) 3 honks and we go at it. I SS down to 3rd and pull on the Scion about 3 cars and as soon as I hit 4th gear I hear BOOST. Im like wtf so at this point we are dead even goin bout 120mph and then i finally hit Vtec in 4th and i pull on him again...by this time im hitting the 95 495 split so we slow down and chill til we get onto 495. So we then line up again goin 50mph, 3 honks and boom i SS down to 2nd and i pull like 5 cars on him, once again I hear boost and here he comes, but i still got strong ass 3rd gear so i shift to 3rd already in vtec and i regain my 5-6 car lead and i got off on my exit as he hits his flasher to show how I prevailed
Race #2 So im on 295 in my girls ES 300 and some doosh in a 2007 Cadillac DTS comes flyin up behind me...hes got like 5 ppl in the car and just keeps speedin up and slowin down besides us. I h8 racing in the ES because it isnt as fast as my car and i dont believe its raceable...but i sed fuck it...so as soon as i see hes bout to gun it again i got WOT and we are boht gaining about the same speed which was 80 as soon as the ES shifts into 3rd i pull on him by 2 cars. I was very suprised
Race #3 Im on Penn Ave and i'm sitting at a light in my girls ES 300 again. So a 2003 Maxima AT pulls up stock. I look over and he looks over and i know its on. I told my girl her car would get fried by the Max but we'll race to see wat it can do. So as soon as the light turns green I pull like 2 cars on the max, so then i hit 2nd gear the lead is down to 1 car then i hit 3rd gear and the max is even then it slowly passed the Lex. I was very suprised that the Lex held on for that long though. I will soo be modding the Lex so it can fare slighty better in these situations BTW the lex is a 4AT

Please keep it on the racetrack where it belongs. Manslaughter is the charge if you kill anyone in the street racing accident.
Track day school is $250 for a full day on the real race course-with a pro race driver coaching you in your car.
going 80 in a 55 cost more than that, 130 on the freeway?- revoked license, possible seizure of car- Ca has some tough laws to crack down on the street racers, and they are teaching other places how to do it!

lol i appreciate the concern and advice but if anyone gets hurt it would b me...i dont race with other ppl on the road and i know wen to back off...i wil;l b going to track school just for th experience though

P.S. I understand what you mean, but if a car and the driver can handle going above the posted speed, I don't see an issue. Old grandmas and girls talking on their phones in daddy's car, THERE'S your road hazard. The car that hit that royal family that was visiting SF, unfortunately killing them? DRIVEN BY A GIRL.

a 17 year old girl- in new Mustang 5.0- kills the Heir the the Tongan throne
she swears she wasnt going 100 or racing anyone when shen turned across their path and clipped the exploder sending it tumbling. She isnt even sure it was her that caused the accident killing 3 people. Probably on the phone too
Unless and UNTIL you have practiced what to do when a tire blows at speed, or an obstacle suddenly appears, the car skids and starts sliding- do you want to spin to the inside or the outside- what do you do to make that happen? you dont belong going fast.
What about the person you dont even know who is racing you- what happens when his tire blows and veers into your lane. Is that person a skilled driver or going to cause your death. You may hate your parents- but they will really miss you
It takes ZERO skill to push a gas pedal down- and judging by your lack of knowledge on vtec and torque and shift points, gear ratios etc- you dont currently posses the skill set to participate.
The CA siezure law- if you are caught participating in a race, and they can say blowing past 5 cars on the on-ramp was a race whether the other car knew it or not, or *especially* sideshow street racing etc. and are ticketed- if they even see you WATCHING from the sidelines next time- anytime, later- and they do go out undercover with video cameras- you are guilty of suchandsuch probation violation and on Sunday morning 30 tow trucks go out with a list.
Grabbed a nice 350z last weekend from a girl who was ticketed 2 years ago- then seen watching recently-not even participating.....$1000 to get your car back IF they decide all the parts are legal- not stolen parts, and if 2nd offense goodbye car- they just got a new undercover ride.
I may be a grandpa- but you dont get to this point in life without learning some things.
Flying aerobatics-racing cars- scuba diving all come with specialized training and licensing.
Come out to the track for a day that will change how you drive, and go for a ride with an instructor in their car for a ~Hot Lap~

i hope u werent talkin about me there...ive been n zero accidents and been drivin track cars since i was 12...so i know how to drive...didnt ur mother ever tell u if u dont have anything nice to say dont say anything at all?

That said, public endangerment IS the issue.
