Silver TL/ cleared tail lights

I'm about to clear my tail lights on my silver TL and was wondering if anyone has some pictures of a silver TL with cleared tail lights? I was thinking cleared tail lights might not look to good on silver...any input would be nice.

I thought about doing that as well but I love how the clear looks. Do you have the DIY link to the smoked?

HONESTLY, don't do it. if you don't like the red, get the type s side markers and tails. and if you really wanna smoke em, then LIGHTLY smoke them. trust me...I saw this 3 series beamer with a very LIGHT smoke and it looked SMOKING hot! really really!!!

Ok cool. Will the type s side markers fit and will I have to mod the plug or is it the same?

^ they're slightly different, but you can get them to work...you have to bend and twist a little, but they'll fit.

what's the consensus man?

I have my base tails very lightly smoked right now, but plan on picking up a set of Type S tails and doing a little clearing myself Ac I'm really digging your tails btw! I plan on going the same route, just a wee bit different.

What's up dude,

I have noticed all your posts seem to be on this topic. I think you have revived every old thread on clearing tail lights. It's funny because my DIY thread has been on page 1 of these forums for a couple of days now. So in case you have over looked it...Here you go.
