Here's a thread that contains a good diagram (a few posts down) of the side mirror assembly: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-problems-fixes-114/replace-side-mirror-actuator-motor-755014/

The blinker assembly comes complete with a new bulb. I don't know if just the bulb can be replaced (because I think the unit is sealed). Someone correct me if I'm wrong about this. The complete blinker lens assembly is about $36 if I remember correctly. You'll have to disassemble the mirror assembly. You'll need the correct size Torx screw driver and some patience. You'll also need to carefully pop the mirror out of it's snap mount in order to take the assembly apart. There are also Torx screws in the mirror housing--look carefully (underside too) and remove all the Torx screws before attempting to split the mirror assembly in half.

Sorry bro, I saw Type S and side blinker and I assumed mirror! I'm having a hard time knowing which ones you mean (it's late and I'm dull!)

If you mean the ones up in the front bumper, you have to remove a couple screws in the front of the wheel well lining, and reach forward up to the blinker assembly.

If you mean the ones behind the front wheels, you remove the screws in the wheel well lining to the rear, reach in to the rear, and squeeze (pinch) the sides of the assembly to remove.

Good luck!

Lol no thank you for helping. I wasn't vary descriptive or even accurately describing my problem. I said blinker when I believe it's actually called the side marker because it doesn't blink so my apologies I confused you. Yeah I'm having a problem with the light on the fender So I think u said remove the fender liner and I can reach it there and just pop it out? Any screws behind it actually holding it to the fender? Again it's the marker on the front fender

^What he said. The only thing holding the side marker light (official term according to the service manual :P ) is tabs, so you won't need to unscrew anything to pop out the light itself.

IIRC, the side marker light should be a LED in a sealed package so you'll have to replace the entire package. However, being an LED, I find it odd that it would go out.

Thanks for the info Felix, yeah I find it weird also that it would just stop working. I've only had the car a month and this happened A friend who has the same car told me it might just be the plug came loose. I haven't gotten a chance to work on it yet with the playoffs on but I'm hoping it won't be the whole part as I've called the dealer in NYC and with a shop discount they told me it was 70$ for the side marker light as u call it lol damn that's a lot!!!

Also is there a way to just pop it out without going under the fender?

if you use a long thin flathead screwdriver you can pop it out by sticking it behind it. Just use a wrag too so you dont damage your paint. Its not a blinker too, just a constant on sidemarker and yes they are very expensive for the type s. I paid 70 bucks for mine too and that was at cost!

I ordered a set of 4 from ebay and the fronts fit fine but the rears have a different connector for the type s. So your only route for the rears is oem sadly. I doubt it came unconnected, very hard to especially since its connected with a clip
