should i buy?

Negotiated a 07 WDP TL w/ 6700 miles for 30,500 out the door. It was a loaner, test drove it for about 15 min, ran great and everything. No nav. The selling price came to 27,XXX. They offered me 10.69% financing with $444 monthly payments lol, so i said hold up on that as i know i can get it for cheaper. Good deal without regard to the financing part?

hhhmmm. Well you should know your credit score and see if you are qualify for a lower rate than 10.69%. How long is your payment. NO NAV is a NO NO.

10.69% is pretty damn high..whats your credit score? but the selling price is actually not bad at all considering the mileage and year of the car, but then again it doesnt have navi. Make sure you do all of your research before you get a car you're going to regret >.<

btw is it auto or man?

thanks for the quick responses.

I qualified elsewhere for 8%, waiting for one of my friends to get back to me to see if he can beat that rate.

No nav, auto. taupe interior. Dealer accessories were new floormats, trunk tray, and wheel locks.

I was actually able to get a 07 rbp w/ 12 miles for 32,800, but i still wanted a white.

You sure you don't want or need NAVI. Think twice please because 9 out of 10 regret not getting NAVI. You qualify for 8% and those bastard offer you 10.69%.

someone correct me if i'm wrong but invoice is like 31.7. current incentive is $2500. comes to around 29.2. your getting like a 2k (more or less) discount for buying a dealer demo/loaner that people beat the shit out of while their car was in service.
you might get a better rate if you buy new. if your happy with the car then go for it.

personally, i wouldn't buy any loaner that i've had in my care while my car was in service. i prolly made it worse for you but it's my

i agree, dont buy a loaner car...people tear the crap out of it! im pretty sure you can get a better interest rate with a brand new TL but then again you might have to put a down payment on it. Are you putting anything down for a car?

I thought a $2k discount was a good deal. This dealership doesnt have any more 2007's left. How much more should it be for an 08?

Do they offer different interest rates between buying used or new? I thought it was based on credit history. Anyways, Im a recent college grad with about 620-660 credit score. Car was 30,500-10,000(down payment) = 20,500 to finance.

Payments would of been $444 with acura and $415 with a credit union.

oh yeah, one of the other acura dealerships i dont really like because of their customer service was able to get me a brand new 07TL royal blue pearl, with taupe interior and no navi for 32,800. But i walked away from the deal. 32,800 out the door decent?

32,800 new vs 30,500 used/loaner. i dont know anymore. I just really want a TL already lol.

stock side skirt

In my other thread, i was about to purchase a 07 loaner. Just remembered that looking at the used car, the side skirt seemed like there was a 1cm gap or so between the rest of the car and the skirt. Its really noticeable on the rear when you open up the back doors. Push on it and it seems loose. Is this normal? easy to fix?

If you think 2k is a good deal then that's all that matters. Have you tried expanding your search to other dealers in hopes of finding an 07?

Personally, I don't think it's a good deal... I bought brand new 2006tl w/navi for $32400 (including floor mats) at the end of 2005 - similar situation you are in now (not to mention 2% financing). It was a good deal, but some people managed even better (search the site). No navi for me is a killer - had it on 2000tl and won't buy anything without. In few years even entry level cars will have it... If you can, wait for a month or so - by the end of year dealers are trying to empty the lot - you may get much better deal.

Get the Navi ... even without the database for my area in Canada at the moment, it is great to have just to navigate the XM radio and audio features. Plus, voice commands!

Thanks for all your opinions. I decided not to get the car and wait. I will either purchase through private party or wait until there are more 07s out. From what ive seen in the arizona market, most used 07s happen to be loaner cars. I'm moving to the bay area in january, do you guys think i should just wait till i go to a bigger market to buy the car?

8% is the best ive got so far. It must be cuz im young and didnt have that great of a college career in terms of managing money hehe. What do you guys suggest for a good finance rate with a credit score of the low to mid 600's?

Forget about the numbers. If it doesn't have Navi, it ain't worth getting. What if you decide to sell it down the road? The people shopping for a used TL will want one with Navi.

Cars with Navi hold their value much better, even if you dont care about it, youll save yourself money in the long run, especially considering in the next view years navi is going to be a lot more prevelent and desired
