ok, I'm terrible at decisions, its bad, now I've been looking for a shift knob because the new 06 TL i just bought is all kinds of torn up, I'm thinking of a skunk 2 or a factory one, I'm thinking that the skunk 2 is going to be quite cold in the winter (like now) anyone have any experience with this? looked on eBay and saw a lot of things i don't think i want on my car. Spending 60$ on a shift knob i want to make a good decision here thanks for your input!
thanks, i saw this thread before, i just want quality at a decent price and be happy with what i got lol
Again, it's all opinion, to some, quality is ivory wrapped with suede and some gold flake, to others, it's a raw piece of steel, I bought a shift knob from eBay similar to this:
I'm very happy with it, it could use some work on my end as far as mounting, but I doubt I replace it.
I linked to the NRG's which I discovered after spending money on the eBay shift knob. Rockstar seems happy with his NRG (scroll to bottom), but it fits his taste, so I re-iterate, the "perfect" "quality" shift knob, is personal taste.
A shift knob that gets cold in the winter isn't near as bad as one that gets scalding hot in the summer, lol. I can't use a sold metal knob any more because its just unbearable. I used to have to keep a towel in the car to hold it with.
I got a Civic SI shift knob which is leather wrapped metal. A bit pricey but really nice, and exceptional quality.
