Question Are the seats comfortable?

I am planning to replace my 95 Legend 6-speed coupe with a the 04 TL. The link below has the first negative comments about the 04 TL and I was wondering if anyone else had a problem with how comfortable the seats are.

Thanks,

I think the seats are comfortable. My only complaint with the seats is that I wish they had a bit more side support for spirited driving. One thing to remember is that it is impossible make a seat that will be comfortable to everyone. Give it a try and see if you can get comfortable in it.

For short trips they’ll do but anything over 45 minutes you’ll be looking for a chiropractor.

And what do you base that comment on?

I own a 00 TL and I found the seats to be short (supporting the thighs) when compared to an STS I previously owned. I drove this car as my main car for commute and business for the past four years. Early this year I experience some aches in my right leg below the knee. I felt that this was due to the shortness of the seat. I adjusted the tilt of the seat up to support the bottom of my thigh near the knee and the pain was much less, almost gone. I can't speak for other cars, German or Japanese, but the STS was the most comfortable I had.

I just saying, I've had mine two weeks and I feel every bump in the road. That's just me and that's why I'm selling it. The car would be a great if they changed out the seats. My .02.

you feeling every bump is not due to the seats, its due to the suspension.
