Searching for '07-'08 TL

Hey guys,

I've been still searching for a used 07-08 TL for awhile and have found this TL at a dealer. It's priced at $10,985 and has about 87k miles. Is this car worth that amount of money?

Here's the link and the car fax is attached in there:

Looks to be in great condition. It's priced to sell in my opinion so I would offer $9,800. Keep in mind 105k service is not just on mileage but every 7 years so if it hasn't been done get a quote from local Acura dealer and have them take that off the top of the car as your negotiation tool. It worked with me when I did it because many dealers aren't aware of the Acura service that's due and are willing to take it off the top rather than pay the labor to have it done to maximize profit.

Thanks for the info regarding the timing belt. It would be a great tool when I negotiate. I was surprised by the leather condition. It looks like new!

That leather many times is based on who owned it as my interior is like new also. Sometimes you get lucky

Do you think it is realistic to offer maybe 20% off? Around like $8600?

I'd write you off as a legitimate buyer at that point. You don't want to insult on an offer because the dealer will then be less likely to negotiate with you. You don't want that.

How low do you think I'll be able to talk it down? Kinda on a tight budget.

I actually test drove that exact car last Thursday. First, it needed jump started. Probably a bad battery, but that gave me a bad vibe. Then I noticed some peeling paint on the top of the passenger fender - a small spot, but concerning. Finally I noticed some slight vibration while driving it. I passed on it. These could be minor issues, but I just didn't want to take a chance. I would not discourage you from taking a look at it though.

OP if you're on a tight budget why not get an 06 with Nav. That will get you to that $8999 -$9999 area or are you just set on 07-08?

that is the exact place i bought my 07 back in december of 14. don't trust anything they sell you. i looked at a silver 07 and it needed tires so bad that the car was shaking. told them about it so they threw some cheap a** tires on and told me they replaced all four tires balanced them and an alignment, as well as an oil change. come to find out that the car had 2 bent rims and they never performed an oil change, they just reset the oil light. i bought the car because it only had 55k. once i found out that the car had 2 bent rims i told them and they explained that they would fix them for free.
after 3 times going back and forth from del ware to newtown square they fixed the wrong wheels that were not damaged. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM..
