Saw another TL today!

6:30 A.M. on my way to get a coffee (actually a latte but I'm really too manly to drink latte's). Anyway I saw one of those Anthropod colored TL's. You know the mud colored ones. It really looked pretty good - too bad it wasn't SSM. That's the second one I've seen in over two months here in Dayton. The other was another beautiful SSM like mine. By God their practically everywhere!

Has anyone else noticed that the proportion of really nice cars is far higher at 6:30 A.M. than at any other time of the day? All I see are lux or near-lux cars it seems. Of course it could be the effects of all that espresso.

Let the flames begin. :tflamer:

No flames here, I love my mud-colored TL with the foreskin interior.

I've only seen one in the Dayton area... and it was today. SSM/Ebony/6MT/Navi in a W-P parking lot. Had the new TU2 tires and 33xxx VIN (yes I'm nosy). Hope to add my red TL to the local area in about a week!

meh, I saw one in my neighboorhood this evening. We waved at each other.

'Least I know I was the first to spot such a great value and awesome car. Even with my old 'lude, we luders would wave at each other.

I'm pretty sure that, statistically, I've driven by about 12 SSM's, but there are so many silver rent-a-cars out there that I likely mistook them for an Avis Crown Victoria.

Don't take this personally, but silver cars are dime-a-dozen and yesterday's news. I don't mean this as a slam, but your choice of the most boring TL color is a poor reflection on your decison making skills. I mean this as a positive, but if you wanted an Accord you should have just bought one instead of spending $33k to trick your friends with your second-class Acura.

Deep down you know you made a poor decision. Don't think you're going to get any sympathy in here, kittyboy.

boltjane, I own an Accord and what's wrong with the Crown Vic? Florida's full of them. Also it seems you're a little over sensitive to that 'non-orange Carmel interior' thing. Huh? I sense a bad case of SSMenvy.

Amazing, I never see a new TL here in central NJ. Can count on one hand how many I've seen in the past few months.. Always see lots of older ones.

I wish Acura could do something to get all those '03 to '99 TL's off the road as they're definitely taking the prestige factor on our '04 way, way down.

I too am having "blue car syndrome" with the second gen TLs. Still have not seen any non-dealer 3rd gen TLs on the road in the Dayton area!
