Just wondering what your guys RPMs are at when cruising at 80mph

 

In my UA7, it's right around 2,760 RPM's.

 

5A/T or 6M/T?

 

TL or TL-S?

 

BTW, I have a 6MT, and that RPM reading is in 6th gear.

I think my 5AT (TL-S) is about 2500 RPM, 5th gear. Just a bit lower than the 6MT.

I aslo know that it is at ~5,000 RPM - right at VTEC engagement - at 80 MPH in 3rd gear, at 50 MPH in 2nd gear, and at 30 MPH in 1st gear.

I think TL Type-S.

I cruise at 72mph and it's around 2,000-2,100 RPM. It's a stock TL 5AT.

 

Correct. It's part of the VIN code.

 

Where are you guys doing 80? Cops around me give tickets for anything over 65!
