i am debating whether to get a ronjon kit or a factory a-spec kit on my 05 WDP....i got the car about a month ago and didnt get the aspec package because people told me that i could get the body kit a lot cheaper online....(i found one for about 800 on ebay)....now i realize that ronjon kit is gonna cost me about 2 grand so it's more pricey and i was just wondering if it was worth it....so any input would be appreciated.....

If you have the money to get the RonJon kit over the A-Spec kit, I would definatly would suggest you get the RonJon... A-Spec is good looking, but it's kinda "norm". RonJon is diffrent.

I prefer the A-SPEC, but Ron Jon kit doesn't look too bad.

a-spec looks more subtle, the ronjon is too dramatic of a change and when i look at it i automatically think some punk kid is driving it.(sorry don't wanna insult anyone here). just that the TL to me is the type of car that is suppose to be a little more mature but still retain that sportiness.

Saw an A-spec in person for the first time this week...wasn't impressed and it put me over the edge on buying the Ron Jon kit...I just felt there wasn't much of a change between my car stock and the A-spec...too subtle if you ask me but to each his/her own

Aspec = Acura warranty

What is the warranty on the RonJon kit?

What are you gonna warrenty on body parts? Paint? Any problems with body parts, they will probably blame on you due to normal wear and tear.

This mod has little affect on warrenty.

I'm not a big fan of the back of the ronjon kit. I have the a-spec and absolutely love it.

Buy the ronjon kit (even though it's more expensive) and then sell your OEM bumpers (front and back) and your OEM (side skirts) and then that should cover up some of the expenses so your net cost for the ronjon kit would be about $1,000

Maybe some who dinged up their bumpers but doesn't want aftermarket bumpers. It seems nearly every TL I see in parking lots has a dinged up rear bumper.

Get the RonJon kit so your tL doesn't look like the 814568946387621 other people who have the TL.

I think the A-spec looks nice but for some reason when I look at it.....it just doesn’t look smooth. The A-spec kit doesn’t blend in smooth with the original bumpers.

I like the RonJon kit pretty much for the same reason everyone else said...not that the ASPEC is common but the RJ is just...less common. Just MHO.
