RonJon Kit issue.

I'm having a problem with the sideskirts towards the rear tires. RonJon provided a double sided tape to hold the upper portion in, but that didn't hold too well. So I tried my own tape to try and get that sucker in. But it keeps coming apart from the car due to either wind or water. It just wont stick. Could someone with the RonJon kit possibly give me some pointers? (it can't be clipped or screwed in.)

Welcome to the pain of having an RJ kit.

You're gonna have to epoxy that side skirt in place. Get yourself some quick setting epoxy and apply it on the inside, then wrap your shoe with a towel and apply firm pressure to the skirt with your foot for about 5 minutes. That should take care of it.

Ask the member Elegant Type S, he always helps me with my problems. Nice guy, he has a kit and it looks great.

I guess I could epoxy it to the car, but when it comes time to changing it back to stock, will it destroy the side skirt?

Epoxy will come unstuck with a good, strong tug. Then you just pick off the remaining glue from the body with your fingernail.
