Ronjon Body Kit...
Hey guys, new to this site, but ready to buy the RonJon kit, any good recomendations for whom (body shop) could install the kit ? Also should I get the kit already painted or have the bodyshop paint it after installation. I have a 2006 WDP color. Almost forgot I'm located in Carson ,Ca. close to Torrance and Long Beach. Thanks in advance !!

IMHO, I'd just as soon buy it ready to bolt on ... painted. With the WDP there isn't going to be anything to really worry about with regard to color match. Might be a different story with the blue/red colors offered.
As far as installation goes .... if you can afford to get the kit then maybe you can afford to have someone else deal with the install. This way you're covered if anything were to go wrong. When I finally get mine I will have an Acura dealer do the install only because they will most likely be more familiar with this as it shouldn't be much different than an A-Spec kit installation.
Just my
Cheers.

Actually, the WDP shows the difference in color ALOT... especially with the A-Spec kit... I would go ahead and throw down the extra cash to have RonJon paint it.. I'm sure he has painted lots of these kits with the Acura paint codes so he would peobably be the closest someone would get... just from experience and understanding....

WDP is very difficult to match, and in most instances you can see the variances in color on the car compared to the pre-painted A-spec body components.
Getting RJ's kit to match well will be just as difficlult.

WDP is so difficult to match that you might as well buy the kit UNpainted from RonJon, and have it matched to your WDP and installed at a body shop of your choice. Even Ron often recommends that as it's the best way to get a seamless color match with your car.
Totally up to you, though.

Hey thanks guys for input. So I went to my dealership (Southbay Acura) in Torrance, Ca. They said they could install the kit for $475. But they also said the WDP would be hard to match, so they gave me their body shop number. They suggested to let the body shop install and paint to match the car. Also while I was there another service guy over heard me talking about the kit, he came over to see the pics, he then said hey there's one of those kits installed on a TL in the repair shop right now. So I asked if I could see it he said sure. What a lucky break for me, I got to actually see the kit installed on a TL before I purchsed mine !! It looks really good, like the article said a perfect fit !!! Oh the reason the TL was in the shop, the kid (owner) burned out the clutch. The kid (19 years old) say it's a defect ? Yea, right funny the car only has 20K miles on it, the car looks like a racer, happened after the movie came out (F,F, Drifting) I don't think so... I personally think the kid screwed it up himself. Well thanks for your input.
