Reverse light bulbs...

- I've tried the PIAA 19224 and equivalent "Xenon" badged BULBS. They're just plain ol 921 bulbs with a blue tint on them. No rice boy blue bulbs for me.

- I've tried 9, 12, and 1W single LEDs... None were bright enough with tinted windows.

- All I really want is a nice high output 921 bulb... but:

I just discovered these...

Supposedly (9) 1W LEDS in a tight little package. Do we finally have an answer?
Anyone try these yet?

Uhm... the factory ones work great, why do you need "ultra white" reverse lights??? lol

So you look cool going in reverse?

I changed the tag lights out on my Legacy GT to the white LEDs, similar to the new Lexus have... I'm switching them over to my TL-S... but why reverse?

They want brighter lights because they cannot see anything when backing up due to the tint levels on their cars.

Aahhh... sorry... I'm used to having the back-up cam with my TL-S... never thought of that.

Yep... Tint + TL has a BIG ass. I have the camera and the sensors, but at night the light output is hardly enough for the camera to see.

I'll order a set on Monday, compare and contrast stock, tec toys leds, and these.

Just bought these on ebaY. I'll let yiz know how good they are after I get and install them.

The price seems right ....

Those may be bright enough but I have a feeling the beam will be too focal. Against the lens is will become a diffused light. The ones Kennedy is suggesting have LEDs firing in all directions which could make some use of the reflectors and making the output widespread. Let us know how it turns out DMZ.

Bulb sizes on the TL-S (LP & Reverse & all interior domes/doors) are the same as all the other 3G trims.

Foglight in this guide is wrong - it's actually and H8.
