Removing trunk light?

I went to look for threads on changing the bulb in the trunk. Does anyone knows what to use to open the plastic cover in the trunk light?

Had the same problem took forever for me because I thought I was gonna break it. Just use a little M.A.N. and you'll get it.

It's so easy I never bothered to post the scan before, but here it is anyway.

I just did this mod. today You'll find that you can pop out the light 'easily' by jamming a thin jewelry-like screwdriver in the passenger side portion of the light (portion on lens opposite of actual bulb location). Just jam the screwdriver in about 1/2 inch and wiggle it around to release a tab that holds this light in.

Another bulb removal tip is to wrap some non-slip rubber around the light and use some pliers or vise-grips to wiggle the light out. I tried this mod a few months ago and thought I was going to break the light too, so you're not alone. Now with this knowledge I'll work on the glovebox that has the same light.

Many thanks to Knertified's tip back on 5-19-07. It's amazing what search will find since the answer was there.
