remove silver interior
I dont think the silver trim in the TL goes that well with the decore of the tan interiors. Is there any or plans for an aftermarket replacment for these, such as a wood kit.

Agreed. The aluminum doesn't go with the lighter interior. Even more harsh is the ebony upper dash, steering wheel and door handles with the parchment or camel interior. It all looks wrong to me.

The previous TL's were a real pain to do. The panels on the doors were bolted with plastic rivets, only way to break them apart was by melting them.
I have carbon fiber instead of wood on the center console, 4 doors, and guage cluster. I also have brush aluminum in my dash.
IMO I don't like wood, tan, or anything like it.

I find the aluminum tacky and harsh.
When some good wood kits become available, I will get one. Audi uses some very dark (black) wood in there cars that looks great with the black or gray interior. I hope that this becomes available aftermarket.

Check back to approx 1.5 months ago:
There was some wood interior detailing that I thought
might have been a suitable replacement for the aluminum trim.
I do indeed like the aluminum--just looking for personalization FACTORS, but...
There was a company that sold a 04TL kit for alomost 200 bones.
I could see $200 if it was close to real wood,
but this product is "self adhesive CCRAP (misspelled to get around the censorship software)!!
Not even a remove and replace!
Totally cheap , getto, barrio CCRAP!!
Get the spinners too!
Shame on those cheap bastards for selling that below par shiiT.
Looking for mods in all the wrong places...
Not me,

you are in luck!
I found new trims for your 04TL at:
http://www.woodcorp.com/make.asp?myMake=Acura
they have several tones of wood, aluminum, and carbon fiber.
they also have 3-D Molded Chrome Door Latchs
.
good luck.
