My painter told me this kind of rubber turns a light gray after time in the sun. He said if it was his he would paint it. My time has been maxed lately. I will get some pics, as soon as I can....

More reason I am suggesting the carbon fiber one for Anthracite owners....No painting required. Looks like I'm going to be the guinea pig huh? I'll do it as long as I find out it is flexible for the contour of the rear window.

I have a nighthawk black TL and I'd like to put the window spoiler on but I'm leery of the rubber changing color to greyish/dull black with some wear. aka winters. Definatly like to see what the carbon fiber one looks like, get those pics posted!!

which blue tl are you talking about? if it is the one that this thread is about, you can go to ebay and get one. they have gone up in price since i got mine.

yea the one on the first page the blue Tl with roof spoler i dont see that on ebay ..is it made for other car and can be fit on Tl i try to search it under TL and cant find it...can u help ayethetiense

I bought this one for my 06 TL. Color matched perfect but I didn't like the way it looked on the trunk. I ordered the OEM copy for the trunk. I think I'll see how it looks on the back window.

Bought this spoiler for my 06 TL. It is the M3 style spolier. I didn't like the way it looked on my trunk so I ordered the OEM copy. Guess I'll see how it looks on the back window.

uhm, im not sure if thats going to be the right size. in fact, if it is specifically for the trunk, i know its not going to fit on your back window

It does fit the back window but it isn't 45". Mine is about 43 1/2", looks OK but it leaves about 3/4" exposed on both sides. I'm not putting it on perminently. It is very flexable and is easy to fit to the contour of the window. Same material as the black unpainted ones, flexable black rubber.

so you got the oem copy for your trunk, and you are using the m3 style spoiler for the rear windshield? it looks kindas funny if its gonab short on the edges. another member had one on here that was short, i think theres pics up of it too
