Does an 07-08 Base A-spec lip fit on an 04-06 Bumper?

 

Not sure, but I'm pretty sure that the openings for the air inlets are different at the outer edges. I think it might need some modification... maybe not though, see post 18 in this thread...

i am pretty sure this has been attempted before and it WILL NOT fit.

 

if it is an 07-08 type s lip
if it is an 07-08 base lip

 

no it wont fit without modification ... the bumpers are different

 

mod (extra cutting) is needed otherwise no it wont fit.

 

I held a 07-08 base Aspec lip up to my 05 bumper. It was off more ways than one. The 07-08 bumper bottom has a edge to it, the middle is a little different, and the grille opening is a different shape. IMO it's not worth it to mod the lip to make it fit.

 

the 07+ lips won't fit the 04-06 TL on the front, the rear will fit but will require you to mark your own holes, and if it's the TL-S one, a little bit of cutting.

Heeltoe got something up his sleeves for an interchangeable lip kit between 04-06 and 07-08 base/type-s?!???? O_O!!!!!

Because I made a bonehead mistake and send a Canadian customer a 07-08 base lip that doesn't fit his 04 Base. I made the mistake in thinking all the bases were the same 04-08. So now I need to send him a new 04-06 lip and to avoid paying return shipping on the 07-08 lip back to me I'd like to have someone else get it up there...mostly to save of shipping costs!

 

After being at his house most of Saturday morning I heard all kinds of ideas, hope some of them come to fruition.
