Can anyone post pictures for 07-08 base TL with regular underbody kit and a-spec kit?
I would like to compare between 2 of them.

here is a rough comparison, i did however modifi the base 07 spoiler to fit the Type-S bumper. it doesnt fit like this, because it's made for the base TL not the Type-S,

 

thank you for photos, so if I get 07 base model, and I can still put a-spec kit like 04-06 model? It looks like same a-spec kit that goes with 04-06 model for 2nd car. Is that right?

 

no, if you get the 07 base it will only fit the 07 base tl, it is shaped differently around the fog light area. the 04-06 does not have fogs so it is different. if you have a type-s the base will only fit if you have it customized like i did. otherwise it will not fit either, fog light area is slightly different between base 07 and type-s 07.

Dude, you are my inspiration for the whole going with an Aspec front lip...Your wdp looks killer with it. Id pay you to do mine so that it would fit my 07 type s front bumper...

 

Damn I SOOOOOOOO wish the the 07/08 Type S A-Spec kit looked like the base A-Spec. Im not sure if I like the dramatic "fighter" kit look of the Type S A-spec kit. Only if they made the Type S kit like the 07/08 kit and not require any modifications.

 

May i ask, since ive decided to use the 07 type s front bumper on my conversion, what sort of custom mods are you talking to fit that base aspec front? Just the foglamp fitting right?

i remember someone also did a base lip on a typeS bumper with little trimming rather than molding. wonder if anyone can find that picture.

Minkl is basically correct (with the drawing). The foglights on the Type S "point out" at the edges and the fogs on the Base TL foglights curve in. I had a side by side comparison a long time ago-I can't remember where it is though.

Nope 07-08 base lip does not fit the 04-06 bumper without modification.. I held it up to my 04-06 bumper and there was more than one area that wasn't right.

 

well crap! that sucks cuz that front lip looks a lot cleaner and sits lower

 

Yeah, I like better than the 04-06 lip or TL-S lip. It does look cleaner and shaped well overall. Also doesn't have that textured raw plastic part.

I can never tell the diff btwn 07 base TL fog lights vs 07 Type s Fog lights. I was wondering if anyone here installed the type s aspec lip for the rear bumper and the base TL lip for the front bumper. I like the 07 basel TL lip over the type S aspec lip. But the aspec type s lip for the rear looks hot as well. Would it look odd combining both the front base lip and rear type s lip?

 

That's exactly what I have on my 05.

07-08 base A-spec front, w/ 07-08 TL-S A-spec rear w/ ATLP quad exhaust.

07-08 fog housings are the same, but the outer black shroud/ black grille shape is different between the base/TL-S.

 

post some pics. i want to see it from distance. Does it match or does it look kind of off?

 

so have anyone done the RJ rear and the type-s front aspec, i always wonder how that would turn out
