Yes,CDN $.Noffense to my southern neighbours but gas prices have been so cheap down there that most americans choke if prices go over $2/gal.Id be very happy if I only had to pay $2/gal cdn.We have been getting screwed on gas prices for so long due to our weak northern peso and high taxes that most people dont care anymore. If your gas prices were to stabilize at $3/gal people would eventually get used to it and realize life goes on.The ones least happy would be those with low incomes or those with big pig suvs that are so extended financially that another $30/wk in fuel costs would push them over the edge.

So you're talking about $2.24-$1.5 (CDN$3-$2).

I understand your point. And, this thread is talking about if gas price will go up to CDN$4. That'll be the incredible price 'cause ppl here are never used to see that price.

I lawl at people who blame SUVs for gas prices....because then in the next lane you see 17 year olds driving Camaro's and other fast cars, and they have a led foot.

I'm going to guarantee, that little kid in a Civic driving with his foot on the floor, uses more gas than mommy who drives to the grocery store once a week.

By the way, if you want to blame SUVs, blame their car counterparts as well. The ML class is a good one, the 350 isn't great on gas, but it's a bit less than the RL....the 550 is pretty horrid, but so is the E550, S550, S600, SL550 (this one will probably drive it a bit faster than the ML, E, S, S600) + AMG

Soo...yeah i'm sure SUV's do their share...but there are FAR MORE CARS on the road. (Ones with high output engines especially).

Last year summer we were in the 3's due to hurricanes and oil rigs going out. I wouldn't be surprised to hit mid 4's this summer.

Well let's change it to how much do you guys pay now for a gallon of gas?

I get anywhere from $3.39 to 3.65 it varies between the cities that are only 30 minutes away from each other by 36 cents which is a lot considering. That's why I pump gas at school rather than at home I save 36 cents a gallon.

I just paid $48 for 91 octane at 76 this afternoon. I think it was $3.45 a gallon.

From what I've been hearing, gas should have no trouble reaching $4 a gallon in the near future.

I hear it is going up to $5 before the elections... then after the elections it is supposed to drop down by half... $2.50 a gallon will be the national average
