Ratchet length
Hello TL family. I have always worked on my 2008 Acura TL with my hand powered tools but lately I've been wanting to use a battery powered ratchet wrench. My only question is: What length would be best/beneficial while working on the engine, etc? Should I get the extended, snub or regular? Thank you for your ideas.
If you want to wrench on small stuff, get the M12 1/4 2456 ratchet. Together with 1/4 sockets (and swivel sockets like
) you will be able to get to most annoying bolts and is small enough to fit into tight places. Like for example taking all those 10mm M6 bolts that hold timing covers is a breeze with this tool (well except for like 2 of them on TL if memory serves right).
There are cheaper alternatives available but I never used them.

FWIW, this is the 3/8" power ratchet I use from China

Makes getting the timing belt cover bolts off so much easier, it cuts the time from ~15 minutes with a 1/4" or 3/8" hand ratchet down to ~3minutes for those bolts alone.
