Well I was coming home from a party, and Im at this light. This brand new Audi A4 rolls besides me and puts his Auto in nuetral and starts Reving it!! LOL! He then rolls down his (im guessing 35% tint) windows and me and my buddies see 3 people in the car. Theyre like, "You wanna go?", me and my buddies just laugh at this deusche bag. When the light is green He speeds off, whilst I switch into SS. we catch up really soon and watch their faces in disbelief as I sped off, lol. It was great. First race in my new TL. I havent broken it in yet so I didnt want to blow a head gasket or anything bad. But it was a great kill.

Which A4? 1.8, 2.8, or 3.0? Or maybe it was a S4? (then again, you would have been raped by a S4 with 340HP).

 

The regular A4 is no comparison. It would be fun if you see BMW 330i/330Ci, Infiniti G35 sedan/coupe, Nissan 350Z, Honda S2000, Mazda RX-8, and Lexus GS430. These cars are pretty close in acceleration capability.

It was a 1.8, LOL. Never had a chance. Although the other day I did get owned by my friend's 56 Chevy Bel Air. DAMMMN those things are FAST as hell. It looked like a POS antique, but I handed me my ASSSS on a platter. It was runnin on 502HP!! Mine is still nicer inside

The Audi/VW 1.8T engines can be modded out the ass....if you roll up to one that is modded and is a manual transmission...you may get your ass handed to ya

 

yeah those 1.8T's with computer upgrade and upfraded K04 turbos are deadly. there are huge torque increases when increasing the power in it. but if its stock and auto the acceleration in that car is pathetic for the amount of money spent.

 

great kill.....thats all i can say.....what i love about our cars is that they are capable of beating some of its rivals in a race....just in case we do lose we will always win if our cars are compared side to side w/ any of its rivals...i hope that made sense...to sum it all up i just love the great combo pf speed/sport/luxury that the 04 TL has....

 

a race with the 330 or G35 would be close, depending on driver skill and the tranny in both cars. the TL would smoke the RX-8, even MT. the S2K, Z, and GS430 would take a TL under normal conditions, although it wouldn't be anything embarassing.

 

A S2000, 350Z will rape TL with ease! G35 coupe is a close one but probably will beat TL at a turn. TL should beat other car(stock) mention above with out much of problem. But then again, I am doubtful TL is built to race!

 

My friend drives an automatic BMW 330ci (convertible) and he always tries to catch me by surprise, but as soon as I hit 3rd, I pass him 90% of the time. He hates when I win, so he keeps trying... he paid $54k and will pay another $800 to add XM in april when it will available.

I don't think he has enough HP, or the sport's package weights too much

 

the 330 convertible is not as quick as the coupe and the automatic makes it that much slower...

 

bmw 330ci is one nice car... it is very much like a M3... actually it is a M3 just without a M powered engine.... again... I can't afford a 330ci... maybe with 10k extra cash in hand I might be able to...

you should be able to take out an auto 330ci on the regular... they are quick but we are quicker... i have an 03 tls which isbasically the same speed wise as an 04 auto and i take my friends 330ci non convertible all the time, even if he gets a good jump... not by much tho but its great to embarrass him because his car is $45k and leases for 640/mo and i lease for 350/ mo
