Quick Question About Mods And The Dealer...
So my dealer said that they could program and cut a switchblade key for me... but I also have a set of tinted tails on the way, do you think I could pay the dealer to put them on for me, I dont really want to drop the bumper if I dont have to and would rather just pay them to do it.
Do you think its something that they'd be willing to do, or do you think they'll be more concerned with dot standards?

Yeah... I've been searching for a couple of days and it seems to be the only way,
I've heard people say that it can be done without removing the bumper but I've never actually seen it, and I dont know how they can get to the screws holding the tail lights in which is under the bumper.

i actually did it once by putting my knee on the edge of the bumper and pushed it down but then again like cs said its fun trying to get them back in. Im 230lbs and still had a hard time pushing it down and trying to get them in
Removing the bumper enough to reach the tails & bolts underneath isn't so bad. Definitely watch the diy vid in the 3G garage...it pretty much spells it out for you. I just installed my tl-s tails this past saturday, and I didn't need to take the whole bumper off to do it. Just remove the screws on the inside of the back wheelwells (a couple are pains, but nothing horrible), and follow the instructions in the vid outside of taking the whole thing off. Also need to separate the carpet on the trunk inside from the sides so you can reach the nuts/bolts. A little time consuming, but saving the $110 or so is definitely worth it...so you can spend that on your next mod
