Quick question about headlights

Quick question about headlights

does clearing your headlights do anything to your warranty?? also whats a reasonable price for a place to have them done at? i called one place and they wanted 90 for each headlight but i think thats tooo much

It doesnt void your warrenty but i think if you get condensation in your headlights, the dealer wont help you out since you opened them up and modified them.

$180 for both is very good price if done well and if you just drop the car off and they take it from there. Consider that they have to take the bumper off, take the headlights out, assume liability for baking them and put it all back together. Unless, you take the headlight out yourself and drop them off. Then the $180 becomes just OK.

And if you think it is too much, do it yourself. It is all labor (but silicone).

If your not mechanically inclined or are concerned about doing it yourself i think the $180 is reasonable. Of course you also need to have confidence in the shop that is doing it. I am extremely picky and was doing the whole Ron Jon conversion at the time so i did it, but if all i had to do was drop the car off and pay $180 i would probably do that if i had to do it again.

yeah if they gurantee the work, then 180 is a real good price.....The work is a bitch i start my headlights next week,already bought the chrome/amber light bulbs

also..what light should i replace the old blinker lights with?? they have to just light up amber right??
