Quick question
Quick question
I just have a quick question. Is it okay to turn the crank pulley without removing the spark plugs? I am pretty sure it's okay, but I want to double check since I dont want to remove my spark plugs again
I don't know...maybe thoiboi can chime in and Google that for you...

Edit - For relevance

You mean like just putting a ratchet on the pulley hex and turning it by hand without the ignition on or anything?
Shouldn't be a problem. I mean, that's sort of what the starter does when it runs, albiet from the other end if the engine. That's also one of the defacto methods of checking for a siezed engine or for checking compression (at least in my olden days).

thanks guys
just wanted to confirm. need to do my oil pump seals and would have to take off my timing belt to get to it. however I did my spark plugs and valve adjustment a couple weeks ago so I wouldn't want to remove my spark plugs again unless I have to
