Put your finger in there and move it around

Open your driver door while sitting and look near the hinge until you get a good view of that hard foam insulation that is in there (I guess behind front qtr panel) - now put your finger in there (I am NOT responsible for any lost fingers!) does your foam move around? Is it supposed to be tight or is it loose to account for body twist etc? Mine is loose and did not know if that was causing any rattles.

Oh yea, almost forgot - be sure to remove your finger before closing door.

Whoa! From the title, I was expecting a thread about something else...

If it's not raining when I leave, I might have to look into this...kind of curious about the foam...doubt it's causing any rattles, though...

Foam that rattles isnt foam. Isn't it kinda wrong to do that to your own baby?

TBone...Interesting that you should mention this foam. I noticed it for the first time yesterday. The foam insulation on my car, on both drivers and passengers side, is very rigid and seems firmly attached to whatever is behind it. No movement whatsoever. Hope that helps.
