Purchased new TL *cool*
Hey fellow TLers!! just bougt a 2006 blk/parchment nav/auto 
. Still had the plastic w/ 2 miles. I'm so excited that I'm reading all the manuals back and forth. hehe It's such a cool toy. Smells so good. It's my first brand new car. I'm just going to tint the windows for now and get the Dvd Mod soon. That's it for now with the mods. I "plan" on keeping this puppy for at least 10 years or more depending how good I take care of it. Here is the purchase price I got mine for.
$32764 w/protection package
$1000 for extended warranty 7yr/100,000 miles
2 oil changes for free.

that one that you are talking about is the appearence protection package, most acura dealerships use the perma plate treatment with 3m scotch guard
