Smile Poll: To Dril Or To Tape

K. I've done a lot of search on the forum regarding the installation of the Type-S Lip Spoiler on the car. Some say drilling, and some say use 3M tape. I prefer not to drill, but I want to know if 3M tape can really hold up. So, let's take a poll!

I was thinking about the aspec kit for my type s
I definately would not drill because I might change my mind.
3m will work fine but if you hit something or bottom say goodbye

Im sure drilling is definately the way to go if your going to definately keep it.

i wouldnt trust just taping it. even though it should hold up fine, i just wouldnt feel comfortable. theres been a couple instances where other member's lip spoilers have been ripped off just cause they weren't drilled on.

Actually, I should word my question properly. I meant lip spoiler on the trunk, and not the underbody spoiler. Sorry about the confusion. The LID spoiler. Dman. I couldn't get this right

i would say drill it if you gonna keep it as it is.
btw i taped mine because i might change the front lip when RJ kit comes out. it holds fine and it'll never fall out even if you ground the bottom.
