Plasti-dip covers

im thinking of using white plasti-dip on the covers underneath the hood. my question is would it be able to withstand the heat under the hood? i dont want it to melt off all over my engine bay.

I just asked this question too. I wanted to know will it melt if I painted the gray piece of the base a-spec lip in the back around the exhaust and someone said that they painted their caliper and there was no melting so this will probably be ok/.

i think youre better off using gloss spray paint. i plastidiped my front grill and emblem but its matte and its very dull imo i think shiny covers under the hood would be flashier

Plasti Dip protective coating remains flexible, stretchy and will not become brittle or crack in extreme weather conditions; -30°F to 200°F.
