Plasti-dip car bra ?

I was sitting on the throne for a minute and a thought came to my head about a flux capacitor, but then a better idea came to mind..... Plasti-dip makes a clear coat spray, would it be possible to use that as a cheaper alternative than the 3m di-noc cover or even an actual car bra ?
I'm sure a regular can of plasti can be used for temporary needs like AutoX instead of the blue or green tape. But I'm debating about wear and tear on the plasti when used day for day for daily driving.
Now that I got that off my chest it's back to the drawing board on that flux capacitor.
Oops guess I'm not the genius I thought I was, it's in the FAQ on the site. Ok mods can close this thread if they so choose to

i thought about this as well. If you do do it, please take pics of the process and the results.
i was considering doing black + glossifier on my roof for the remainder of winter when i'll have things like my bike and skis and snowboards up there.

I thought about doing this very thing on my new aspec front lip. I have a can of the clear and it seems like it would work. That is a pretty cool website, I was on there a couple of weeks ago thinking about painting my work car with the stuff they have. Good luck and let us know what you do.
