Question Placing my order today...

Right now I have them at 35500 out the door after taxes tags destination and everything. Anthracite 6MT w/ Navi. They threw in 4 oil changes and all season mats. They say they will give me accessories at cost.

How did I do? This is in Maryland where the sales tax is 5%.

Congrats!!!!!

This is a deal I can believe. You will see posts on this forum about people getting Navi cars for $33K, but I don't believe them. Enjoy.

Well, it looks like he got it for about $33500 considering that the price he quoted includes sales tax, tags, etc.

That's the very decent price. It's terrific.

I just placed my deposit

After carefully weighing the different opinions on this board and the experience so far with my delearship, I decided I felt comfortable leaving a deposit. The car is to be built Feb 3-7. My salesman said he would call me with the VIN as soon as it was built. They were able to trade a Silver 6MT Navi for the Anthracite 6MT Navi that I wanted. I should have it about two weeks after the car is built. Does this all sound on the up and up?

Forgot to mention. I tried to get them to add wheel locks and trunk tray. I got the wheel locks but not the trunk tray...I probably could've held out a little longer...but didn't want to risk losing a vehicle that is due in Feb. They sold the trunk tray to me at sales cost? $95. Is that a good price on the trunk tray? If it isn't I can always cancel that item.

My car is being built sometime around Feb. 1-5 and my salesman said he would call me when it is being built with the VIN. Sounds normal with the dealer swap too. All sounds on the up and up to me, as long as you feel comfortable with your dealer and leaving them a deposit.

It's all about the relationship and your judge of the dealership's character.

Yeah you're right Lore. Why am I paying $35,195 with only door edge guards thrown in? This pisses me off. :banghead:

I have talked with three different dealers in my area and none of them will move off of MSRP or throw in accessories. I'll be lucky to get the damn pen that everyone else gets.

I WANT SOMETHING FOR FREE DAMMMNIT!!!!!!!!!

I just ordered my TL from Radley Acura in VA this past Saturday. With all the fees, out the door, I'm paying $35610.33. I've also put down a 1K deposit.
Looks like you got a better deal mamorgan1.
I got the black/ebony/5at/navi with all season mats, wheel locks, and life time free oil change. Anticipated delivery is 1st week of Feb.
Hardly wait till it comes in!! Now I have to try to sell my '97 prelude.
