Pics: 19" Volk SF Winnings
As some of you may recall, I ordered a set of 19x8 Volk SF Winnings with 245/35/19 Toyo Proxes 4 from Wheels Boutique. I received them today, exactly 2 weeks after I ordered them. Sort of.
Instead of the Toyo's, the wheels were mounted on Falken Aventis ST-115. WTF!:chainsaw: Well at least they were the right size.
How do these tires compair to the Toyos? I'm going to call Wheels Boutique tomorow. Should I ask for a partial refund? I don't want to return them, I just want to make sure I get my moneys worth. I paid $175 per tire when I ordered them, the lowest price I've found for the Falkens was just over $200. Do you guys think that I may have gotten a good deal on the tires?
Needless to say, I will not be doing business with them again.
As I am keeping the tires I put them on after work today. I wasn't able to finish before it started getting dark so the pics aren't the best. I will take some better pics on the weekend so for now these will have to do.

I ordered them on-line from Wheels Boutique but I can't say I recomend them(read the post, don't just look at the pics:toothless). They weigh 50lbs with tires vs. 48lbs for the stock 17's and tires. I don't know how much the wheels alone weigh.

Nice wheels automata!
How much room is there between the spokes and the caliper? If you could snap a pic of that area it'd be great. I'm wondering if the Winnings will clear Brembos.

I have the ST115's they are good, don't know about the toyos though..
I know the FZ4's are utter JUNK!
The people (wheelsnext) tried to do the same thing to me about the switcharo tire thing..
but after much "discussion" and thanks to "these" boards (I think it is the ONLY reason) they corrected the problem.

I'm glad wheelsboutique only messed with the tires and didn't screw you on the wheels. This is just another indication that I should not do business with them.
As for the wheels, they look fantastic. I would love to see a daytime shot too. Thinking about lowering the car a bit? From this angle, it looks a little high.
Anyway, great choice in wheel (can't go wrong with Volk) and I think you will be happy with the tire, the Falkens are a great product (especially the Azenis 115). In fact, I have heard that the Toyos are not so great. Just out of curiosity, do the Toyos retail for more than that Falkens? If so, you maybe should get a little dough back.

Better Pics this Weekend
VTEC: I am definitely lowereing the car. I am waiting for the Comptech Springs to come in. When I ordered them Charles mentioned the Falkens being about $20 less per tire than the Toyo's but everywhere I've checked online has them at over $200 per. I'll call Charles and see what I can work out with him.
SitAndMeditate: I'll also try and take a pic of the space between the spokes and the calipers
Thanks for the compliments guys.
