I have a 08 TLS and tried to roll the window back up on the passenger side and it kept going back down instead.

I had to go to the passenger side door to roll up the window since the drivers side door could not do so.

please help with any insights.

 

If it works fine from passenger's switch, but doesn't from driver's (master switch) then suspect master switch.

Maybe just take some crc qd electronic cleaner and spray clean it real good, if you have the skill set to remove?

Perform the relearn procedure 1st before replacing the drivers window switch assembly. Prior to doing so, assure the glass rubber seal is clean.

All you have to do is press the window button down, and hold it for two seconds once it is all the way lowered. Then, pull the button upwards and keep it lifted for another two second once all the way up.

 

You have 1 touch close from drivers door, so if you pull up the switch all the way it commands the passenger window to close completely. IF the pinch sensor logic (so you don't crush your hand in the window) detects abnormal resistance the window rolls right back down. Clean and lubricate the window channels first.
