Passenger Side View Mirror Problem

Hey guys, I've been having a problem with my passenger side view mirror for weeks. My drivers mirror work perfectly, but the passenger side does not want to move when i use the arrows. When i reverse, the mirror will turn but then it will not go back to the regular setting. I have to move it back manually with my hand. I checked other threads but there is no one having the exact problem that i am having, so i would really like your help guys. Thanks

Do you hear any sounds from the mirror when you try to move it with the button?
I think it might need a grease job.

if you hear clicking while its tilting and if your still under warranty, the dealer will fix it for no charge. This happened to me too and the dealer fixed it. I think its a common problem. For me, it mainly happened in cold weather.

Update: The mirror does not make a sound when you move it. It will tilt down automatically when you reverse, but then will not move with the arrows.

Does your windshield washer pump work?

- If "yes," the mirror actuator may need replacement.

- If "no," then the #20 fuse (7.5 Amp) in the driver-side underdash fuse box needs to be replaced with a 10 Amp fuse per TSB, as that fuse controls some movements of the external mirror and seat motors as well as the washer pump and auto-dimming rear view mirror.

Welcome to AZ.

Always check the fuses first!
