Just wondering, i think a small feature my 06 TL lacked was the passenger seat couldn't move up and down like the driver seat. I still take my granny out sometimes and it kinda is difficult for her to get in/out, lol i know its no grandma's car but even my uncles 99 Mercury sable and the passenger seat moves up and down. I wonder why they didn't make it so it could move up and down? For those who are short will have no choice but having a hard time to see out...Anyway just an observation i made, i wonder if its changed in the 07?

 

Interesting question - I've missed that feature in both my 2g and 3g TL. A quick scan of Interior Features on the 07 TL at acura.com still lists 8-way drivers and 4-way front passenger power seats.

Scratch that reason to upgrade from the list.

 

Lexus seems to be more detail-oriented in this regard. Even the entry-level ES has 10-way driver AND passenger seats (not to mention heat and air conditioning for both)

 

The IS 350 with luxury package has 10 way memory seats for both driver and passenger and there are 3 memory settings for each seat. However that car is also more expensive too.

 

Just picked up my 2007 TL and the passenger seat is the same one as the 2006 Front, Back and recline.
Maybe next year.

 

whats odd is that the 06 mdx has the passenger seat go up/down, along with the RL

 

Wrong the RL and 06 MDX has 4 way power passenger seats only. The only Acura with up/down power feature on the passenger seat is the new 07 MDX

 

This is yet another way to keep costs down so all can get their TLs at a reasonable price. Aggravating, but likely decided by a beancounter in Torrance.
