Paintless Dent Removal

I have this one dent on my car this is really bugging me. It's to the right of the driver side rear door. I've been thinking about using paintless dent removal service to fix it. They offer group discounts so I was thinking if anyone on this site wants in, we could both benefit. Does anyone have any experience with this service???

Please don't try and generate a 'group interest' thread about PDR otherwise I will have to lock up/ delete an otherwise useful thread. It violates AZ vendor/advertising rules. Thanks.

That's actually a great shot. See, now I'm thinking about getting this done to my car. As soon as I have the extra cash.

^^^^^^^^^^^^ How do you possibly have a 04 SH-AWD TL??????????

PDR guys can do just about anything as long as they have access to the panel.

how big of a dent are we talking? if its not on a body line or crease and doesnt have a sharp edge to it, you can do the airduster trick.

the best time to do it is when the body panel is nice and warm due to mid-day sunlight... or you can warm it up with a hair dryer. then take a CO2 air duster and hold it upside-down to get liquid CO2. hose down the ding in a circular motion until its covered in dry ice. as the dry ice sublimes, the dent will begin to pull. it only works on certain kinds of dents but i managed to pull a few dents on my truck with this trick... its worth a $4-attempt

see DIY on Dry Ice- use a heat gun not a hair dryer- the goal is to superheat the metal then shock cool it with the dry ice rubbed on the area

Hmmm...I have some door dings I would like to remove. The heat gun won't damage the paint...would it?

I'm going to try this later tonite.

They don't all use heat guns... Some companies "coax" the dent back to its original shape using mild, repetitive pressure.
