P0128 Help, Coolant? Transmission?

Hey Everyone
I was hoping that I could get some leads concerning this code. I have replaced thermostat, radiator cap, temp sensor and my car is not overheating BUT my engine light is still on. Now I have read that it could be related to possibly the neutral safety switch... is that possible? I have had instances where my car doesnt respond to when i try and start the car but then I try again and it starts right up. Any thoughts? this is driving me crazy having the light on. Also, the car drives just fine also, no hard shifting or anything
Thanks

@msl77 Hate to ask the obvious, but have you tried to clear the code with a scanner after doing the repairs? You were overheating before and aren't now, correct? Any other symptoms like little to no heat after running the car for a bit? What's the temperature gauge like after driving for a few?

Try clearing it again.

I did my o2 sensors and got the code again after a few minutes--like a ghost code in the ECU or something.
I cleared it again and it was fine.

How did you clear it? Like at Autozone or something? I’ll try and clear again and see what happens. I gotta get my inspection next month and need to get this cleared

Just sharing a couple of links I found that might be of use:

Please keep us posted if you find a solution!

This code is for engine coolant temp BELOW threshold.

Over heating is the opposite of this issue.

This issue points to the coolant not heating up.

Why were you chasing an overheat condition?

Did you buy a "cooler" thermostat with a lowered opening temp?

Did you use a factory Thermostat (from Acura)?

Is your coolant temp sensor faulty? **If you bought one from an auto parts store, the answer to this is "probably".

Does your car get to operating temp?

Does the heat blow hot?

Did you properly purge the air from the coolant?
