search the threads for the A-Spec install and find the part for the front underbody spoiler install......do it backwards All you need is some dirty clothes a philips and flat screwdriver and 1 hr of your time. (Not sure if you may need a 10mm rachet for this one.....keep it handy.)

Synopsis: undo the screws at the edges of the lip in the front wheel well, pop all the fastners off under the car, pull the lip off carefully away from the areas of double-sided tape......easy.

You CAN do Iiiit!

i was in a rush because there was incoming car when i did a uturn and i scrapped my rims a little bit. i was soo angry, because i shouldnt rush because the incoming traffic would yield me if i take my time lol (hopefully yield me)

I got a quote today of $253.64. That's to sand, prime, paint and clear it. $40 off if I remove it (1 hr rate). Not worth the pain so I will let them do it all for $253.

One thing of note:

As I was getting my estimate done, I saw a guy chilling, riding in a black VW with white scuffs and dents on the drivers side. I looked at his car and wondered to myself: Why can't I do that? Why can't I just ride in my car like that without caring if it is dented, since it doesn't bother the operation of the car? WHYYY???

Then, almost as suddenly as the bout of doubt, in regard to my status, had reached it's peak...a voice resonated in my brain...a voice of strong reason and clarity...it said:

umm. How much does a new front aspec spoiler cost?

 

From acuraoemparts.com, the spoiler is: $264 (not incl shipping). I may be able to get it price-matched at Rosenthal w/o shipping costs included in the match. But then I have to have it painted NBP (the grey part at the bottom). So I am looking at around the same price to paint that ($253) in addition to the new cost of the part. If I just wanted a new A-spec, without painting the lower part NBP, then yes, I would just buy a new one. But, I WANT ALL NBP (so do you ya nut)!

 

I can paint it black for you for 5 bucks. You will never know it was a sharpie.

no way in hell do i want all NBP. Although i am contemplating a black roof overlay...
