Burnout caused auto trans to stick

I know a bunch of you are going to say I'm an idiot for doing it, but what the hell I got a warranty... The other day I was driving on my way to Jacksonville and came to a light in the middle of nowhere with nobody around. The ground was slightly wet because it had stopped raining about an hour earlier. I turned off the VSC and punched it. The car smoked the tires through 1st 2nd and 3rd before I lifted. When I did lift the and began to accelerate again the trans stayed in third. I had to put it in neutral then back into drive to get it to shift. Anyone else experience something like this? Maybe Stillhere??

I got stuck in 2nd once. Had the dealer look at it when I went to change my suspension.
They couldn't reproduce the event and they never heard of this problem before.
Typical.
