Opti Coat and Paint Correction Must read!

Guys its been a long time since I posted I am a BMW troll now on those boards ever since getting my 2012 550Xi M Sport, Just wanted you all to see about opti coat and what true paint correction is all about. These guys are unreal and the final product will have your jaw dropped! Enjoy figured I would share this Hope you are all doing well!

Done by Detailers Domain in North NJ,

Phil runs one of the most friendly High end shops I have seen, These high end paint correction jobs are worth ever penny! Unreal work and pride in what they do. This is the first time I have treated any of my cars to this and I was very happy and impressed.

Complete pics and details on what he did to my car.

You dont know what your car is missing out on until you get one done.

My parents just had their 2013 Infiniti JX sealed with Opti-Coat and it cost $1000 even for full exterior / complete rims / inside wood trim / glass. The product is amazing; makes cleaning a breeze.

I need to get a polish done. Had my car for 3 years now so I figure its time. With the weather getting warmer, it would be a good time. In for knowing how much I could expect a full exterior detail plus polish would cost. Looking to get rid of all swirl marks and imperfections.

These type of paint correction jobs with opti coat go for around 850.00 Takes multiple days and lots of hours of correction. Cant even be called a detail its on an entire different level. Never have to wax the car again after opti coat the stuff is amazing. Just have to maintain it.

That includes full glass, Full Wheels and entire car with full detail inside and out. Look at the process its crazy. Was skeptical at first then hit the boards and did hours of reading the results are unreal, Not a swirl mark on the car better then it was new.

My TL has been repainted and my whole passenger side (front and rear quarter panels, both passenger side doors) has orange peel effect with zero gloss. Does paint correction fix orange peel or can that only be accomplished by wet sanding and compounding ? Any idea what grit sand paper to use?

$250 is around what a shitty low end detail shop charges these days for full interior/exterior cleaning, a quick pass with the buffer that ends up putting more swirls in your paint than it had when you dropped it off, and then a coat of crappy sealant. Detailer's Domain is the real deal.

didn't realize anyone went to detailers domain, i get basically all my wash/detail supplies there. Phil is the best he really is a perfectionist. His prices might be high but the quality that comes along with them is insane, pretty sure i described it to my friend as him shrinking down and crawling through the car with q-tips when we saw his work

I'm all about keeping the paint nice but anything north of $250 is too rich for my blood. I'll just do it myself. That's my opinion of course.

Its all based on how bad your car is, The more work the more money, If you want real paint correction and not cover up like 90% of the shops out there this is where you go, To each his own but when you see Lambos and many others you know your in the right spot end results are unreal. Like i said i was the same way until I did a ton of reading on what takes place. Just wanted to share with you guys.

A basic detail might be worth $250...paint correction is on an entire different level. 850 for what was done is fair IMHO.
