Opinion on DRL, keep it or not

So I got some 9005 leds for my DRLs and made my own wiring harness.. no way Im gonna spend $100 on v-led and would like some opinions...
Should I stay with amber drl or white??

Here are some combinations..
Ambler DRLs with fogs

white DRLs (I can always switch drls off or on)

I pulled the fuse and painted my bulbs red, to give it the "yolk" effect, just because....

Keep the white DRL's that's way nicer than the stock look, especially on the NBP.. I have the white DRLs on my KBP also... and i LOVE IT!

During the day, this is the look :

It's cool how you can turn on the DRL when the headlights are on also man, it's probably too much work for me to do, because im so busy.. haha

There is a small light that comes on that says "DRL" but when our headlights are on the light turns off.

get 2 drl load resistors, they around $15 for two and you wont have any error lights on dash

I vote for white as well. Looks much better and contrast better with your yellow fogs.

yeah there is a little yellow DRL light that comes on... but like to ride around with just the parking lights on. So when i see that DRL at night, it reminds me to turn on my lights.

Where would you install the resistors? I pulled the fuse from the driver's side fuse panel. How would a resistor bypass the "drl" indicator light in the dash with no fuse?

I'm pretty sure you meant if you are running lower wattage leds drl bulbs then run resistors because they will trip the drl light on the dash.

from v-led...
they just plug and play and wont have any error message on dash.. here is the link.

with these load resistors you wont have any drl on physically it just tricks the computer that there is a load on the circuit. If you want your drl to use full 12v for max brightness than you need a relay kit, and I have made my own wiring harness, PM me if you need specific info on that

I probably should snap some pics tonight, create little diy tutorial.
reason for those resistors is to tell the circuit that there is a load. If im not mistaking I got the 25 watt resistors on each side, and I disconnected both bulbs and connected the in-line resistors with fuse in and I had no drl error.
