Ok those that know me know I got my 04 TL Nav 5AT about a month ago. Soni just dropped it off at the dealer for some uhh warranty work. (dont ask) so I'm sitting in traffic dead stop on marylands 695 beltway. And I can't even be mad as I sit here in this fully loaded 2012 TL. Short of a cute blonde Riding shotgun this car has everything and I'm in love lol tho I can't wait to get my car back tomorrow. This car is far from sub par. If your thinkin of retiring your current 3rd gen GO DRIVE A 2012!!!

sorry, 3rd gen FTW. I do enjoy the inside of the 4th gen TL but the outside is no match for the 3rd gen!

well when you campare a base TL without any a-spec kit or new rims, drops and such then the new TL looks better. Now this moring on my drive to work ive seen a 4g TL dropped with really nice aggressive wheels, tinted and work on the grill and it looked amazing. I wouldnt mind a 4g tl with a 6speed manual. But im gonna wait till they come out with a type-s hopefully. The thing is that the 3g has so much potentional to look good and keep up to date with brand new cars that it makes it so hard getting rid off. Especially when it doesnt make sense financially.

i think its nice to see and look at, but not nice to own. The back is the ugliest part

 

The 4g to me seems more like an executive sedan rather than a sport sedan. The 2g TSX was strong with the V6 but just lacked the overall sheer aggressive sexiness I found in the 3g Type-S.

I don't hate them(4g), but every time I see the back of one I taste acid.

Acura really blew it with the 4G, they couldnt even top the looks of 3Gs

 

Exactly how I feel. It drives awesome, but I don't think I could look at that in the driveway and ever be happy with my purchase. I hope they go in a different direction with the 5g TL and go for a more aggressive styling.... But you never know. redesigns are usually hit or miss.
