Oil Change!

Yes i am asking the unimaginable!

No i cannot do it myself, i do not have the luxury of having my own driveway, therefore i cannot do it myself.

My question is do i take it to an acura dealership to have it done or would pepsboys be fine?

Thanx

If it's just an oil change, taking it to the dealership is fine. Sometimes, places like Pep Boys aren't as reliable...unless you stand outside and watch them do the job. What code is coming up on your MID?

Sounds about right.

You should be getting an "A1 Service Due Soon" or something simlar (A12, B1, B12 ....) in the MID too. That tells you what maint is due.

if i didnt do it myself, i would just go to the closest quick change place and then after completion i would check the drain plug and oil filter for tightness, check the dipstick for oil level, and make sure the oil fill cap is secured...

I bring my own oil and filter over to my local Mavis Tire and they do the oil change for only $10 bucks.

i personally take my car to the dealership to get my oil changes, because they offer free oil for the life of the car ... but if they didn't i would probably just take it to the local shop to change the oil ... just make sure that you keep all the receipts so if there is any warranty work that you need done, they cannot deny it by saying that you have not been maintaining the car
