Nokya 9005 (hyper yellow) bulb's
I just swapped out my oem drl bulbs with Nokya 9005 hyper yellow. Seems like the bulbs of choice for many fellow members. So thank you all for your input on these bulbs, because i absolutely love them! One thing i did notice though, is that the OEM bulb has a smaller O.D. o-ring, compared to the Nokya's. Which was making it a real PITA to swapped them out. So to make the install alot smoother, take off the Nokya o-ring and replace it with the o-ring off the OEM bulb. Oh and ALSO pay very close attention to the way the bulb came out of the housing. Follow these 2 steps and there will be no problems.

It was a pain in the ass finding bulbs that would work without resistors and DRL indicator. I tried VLEDs and other brands they didn't work. I ended up trying cheap ones from eBay. 68 bulb LED from china. No problems so far.
lol i switched DRL for yellow nokyas and boy, i must have spent like 2 hours trying to get that thing to seat right blindly... i left with only 2/3 teeth actually inside, i knew it was not in right but i didn't have a choice. when i had time i took my bumper out and headlights to replace my HID bulbs to some osram cbi's, and saw that i was not even close to getting them in.. now they're in right, and look terrific!
I may have missed your initial post about these bulbs, or I would definitely have responded to it.
I had them on my 2008 TL. I was trying to decide between Nokya and Luminix, but went with Nokyas because of their price and reviews. They looked much better than the OEM ones. I personally think that the Silverstar Ultra still have better light than the Nokyas, but Nokya had the "cool" factor to them.
I had them on my car for over 2 years until the day I traded the car in. They were still working pretty darn good. Good choice.

Installed Nokya Yellows in my 06. The connector harness on the passenger side burned and caused the bulb to flicker. I've replaced the Nokya's with Silverstar Ultras and no more problems.
