Hey, guys. I'm new to the forum and just bought my an 08' TL in the Polished Grey color. I love the car, but I was wondering if some of you guys could please tell me some of the problems that come with the car. I know no car is perfect by any stretch, but I just wanted to know what I can expect with my new ride.

random squeaks and rattles that make you go "?!"

but aside from that, you should be set. transmission issues were present on earlier models, but should have been resolved for later models. there's still people reporting issues though... that's a hit or miss.

Haven't had any issues at all with my 07 TL-S.

 

I havent had any issues with my 06 TL(that I hadnt caused myself)

Generally, if these cars were taken care of by the previous owner, the car will be great!

 

My torque converter needed replaced at 60,000 miles on my 07. But was covered under warranty. Other than that, no major issues.
